The Future Now - What can really be achieved in modernising Histopathology?

The Future Now - What can really be achieved in modernising Histopathology?

Thursday 3 May, The Royal Society of Medicine
London, England

About the Royal Society of Medicine

The Royal Society of Medicine is an independent, apolitical organisation, founded 200 years ago. It is one of the largest providers of continuing medical education in the UK. The RSM receives no state funding to carry out its core work and is dependent on generous donations and legacies.

About the meeting

The presentations were given in the purpose-built lecture theatre, which features air conditioning, gently tiered seating, and attractive decoration. It is able to accommodate up to 300 delegates. The lecture theatre is a spacious and comfortable venue for conferences and meetings.

The stunning glass-walled Atrium at Wimpole Street is a beautiful setting and was used throughout the day for tea and refreshments. AES Medical was lucky enough to be able to exhibit PathoSys® in this delightful setting.

The event themes of modernising pathology using cancer dataset reporting, pathology networking, Information Technology and External Quality Assurance schemes echo strongly the features and benefits of PathoSys®. Consequently the meeting gave AES Medical the chance to meet with and demonstrate to numerous interested Histopathology consultants. Several of our current customers were also in attendance and this gave us an additional opportunity to discuss PathoSys® and the themes of the day with them.

AES Medical is grateful for this opportunity to present PathoSys® in such a prestigious setting and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers and speakers for a very interesting and superbly organised conference.
