Company History

2005: PathoSys® system becomes the first medical system recognised by the Royal College of Pathologists.

2005: AES (Defence) operate Early Failure Detection Centre ( Canada) in direct support of the British Army fleet of “Challenger 2” main battle tanks and derivatives, “Warrior” light armoured systems and “AS90” field artillery systems.

2005: PathoSys® system for cancer minimum dataset reporting installed in 11 hospitals.

2005: AES (Medical) appointed exclusive UK distributor of HSD Charge Documentation CSSD management software.

2004: Certificate of Registration ISO 9001 – 2000.

2001: Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) diagnosis project completed.

1999: Set-up AES Early Failure Detection Centre (Land) and Machine Care Plus® service, including a secure communications network, in support of the British Army fleet of “Challenger 2” main battle tanks and derivatives based in the UK, Germany and Canada.

1998: Awarded contract with Angel Trains Ltd for the implementation of Phocus® expert decision support system to monitor the condition/health of Paxman Valenta diesel engines used in High Speed train power cars.

1997: Launch of the AES Machine Care Plus® service and Early Failure Detection Centre (Sea) in support of Royal Navy marine diesel engines installed in surface ships and submarines.

1997: Certificate of Registration ISO 9001-1994 and TickIT (TickIT is a software development standard).

1995: Awarded second contract with Thames Water Plc for the implementation of Phocus® expert decision support system to monitor the condition/health of Meerlis diesel engines in the Power Generation Unit at Mogden, London.

1994: Awarded first contract with Thames Water Plc for the implementation of Phocus® expert decision support system to monitor the condition/health of the Sewage Treatment plant at Crossness, London.

1992: Awarded first contract with the UK Ministry of Defence. Integration of AES expert decision support software with Royal Air Force “In-Flight Engine Health Monitoring” system. C130 military transport aircraft (aero gas turbines).
